Job Duties And Responsibilities 

  • Assists incoming employees, managers or candidates and provides accurate information
  • Assist with new hire orientation, onboarding, and training programs.
  • Maintains basic employment information in HR information system, including scanning of employment documents into electronic personnel files within the HRIS  
  • Maintain department and personnel files
  • Is in the know of culture concerns and brings them to the attention of the appropriate party and/or culture leader 
  • Maintain department and personnel files
  • Creates and distributes memos, flyers and newsletters as assigned
  • Work with HRD and HRM to coordinate activities as necessary
  • Coordinates recognition programs including reminders, award ordering, and celebratory announcements 
  • Administers company recognition and engagement programs to include Referral Program, Quarterly Service Awards Program, and/or any other company implemented program 
  • Maintains employee boards, including the Employee of the Month boards, and ensuring employee kiosk area is maintained
  • Flexibility is needed to work based on business needs 
  • Any other tasks assigned by the GM or Director of HR.

Education And Experience

  • High School Diploma required. Degree in hospitality, human resources or business administration preferred 
  • Minimum of 1-year hospitality experience preferred and/or human resources department 
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word 

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills 
  • "Hands-on" approach to projects and initiatives 
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and has proven trust by others at all levels of the organization
